How does Nitenpyram work?
When Nitenpyram is administered orally, it enters your cat or dog’s bloodstream. The flea will then ingest the drug as it bites and sucks on your pet’s blood, ultimately leading to paralysis and death.
Nitenpyram is a neonicotinoid, which is a type of insecticide that reacts with the Nicotinic acetylcholine receptors of a flea’s central nervous system.
These receptors are responsible for activating certain muscles within the flea when they receive acetylcholine signals from the brain.
When Nitenpyram is introduced to the flea, it binds to their nicotinic receptors, causing them to overstimulate the flea’s nerves to the point of exhaustion. The overstimulated nerves thus stop sending signals, immobilizing the flea’s muscles with paralysis. Unable to move, the flea dies either on the pet or in the environment after falling off the pet.
The effect lasts approximately 24 hours.
Nitenpyram can start working within 30 minutes by killing ADULT fleas that are physically on your dog or cat. Due to its quick turn-around time, Nitenpyram is a popular choice among many vets and pet grooming and boarding services.

Nitenpyram dosage
Nitenpyram dosage is based on the pet’s weight, and can be administered up to once a day.

I have tried everything, every product available when I finally gave this a try. It works, its wonderful. I have not had any problems with fleas since I started using the product. As soon as I see them scratching I give them a dose. Its great, you have to try it if you have struggled as I did.
I have used nitenpyram and lufeneron for over 15 years. And I stand by it. I used to buy capstar. But why? Generic brand does the same thing and less cost.
